Activities

Getting to relax on your vacation is one of the reasons you go on vacation!  At Osprey Point, we have multiple areas where you can sit back and relax.  

Outside Seating

You don't have to venture far to get a fantastic view of the lake if you are looking for a shady spot to sit.  The main balcony off the living room is shaded all day long! 

Choose one of several seating options on the lower level porch and read that book you have wanted to catch up on.  Raining but still want to enjoy the outdoors?  The lower level seating is covered the entire length of the house. has seating for entire party both inside and out.

The second floor private balcony is only accessible through the second floor en suite bedroom.  A great location to sit and reflect on the days enjoyment and memories that were made. 

The boat dock has comfortable seating and lounge chairs for that afternoon nap while listening to the water.

We love the air circulation a ceiling fan provides and therefore every seating area that is under cover outside has one.

Inside Seating

There is seating in the main living room and in the game room for all your guests.  All rooms have ceiling fans for guest comfort (in addition to central air conditioning!)

We understand that sometimes you have to look at work while on vacation.  The loft office is a perfect location to sit with an ergonomic chair and adjustable height desk.

Swimming

The depth of the water next to the private boat dock is anywhere from four to six feet, with water at the end of the dock a little over nine feet.  A ladder is provided for easy access in and out of the water.  Life vests are provided for our guests use while swimming.

There is a small beach area where you can wade into the water if you would prefer. 

Giant Water Lily Pad

The giant water pad is great for those that want to get wet but may not necessarily want to swim!  Life vests are provided for our guests use while swimming or participating in boating activities.  

Kayaks & Paddleboards

There are multiple sit on top kayaks and paddleboards for your use during your stay.  Both are great for first time learners!  Life vests are provided for our guests use while swimming or participating in boating activities.  

Fishing

Fishing poles are available for those that want to fish.  You will need a North Carolina Recreational Fishing License!  Go Outdoors North Carolina

Boating

If you would like to rent a pontoon boat for use during your stay, we can assist you in getting in contact with the company that rents them on the lake.  The private boat dock does have space to tie up a rental pontoon boat.  

Fire Pit 

Osprey Point has a large fire pit area for relaxing around on thoses chilly evenings after being sun kissed during the day!  Enough seating for all your guests with a beautiful view of the lake.

We have many activities indoors to make your stay fun and enjoyable. 

Tables!

Foosball, ping pong AND air hockey can all be played on the lower level.  They don't have to be set up or put away.  Always available to play a game before heading for a swim.  The giant Connect Four game located on the lower level is perfect for those that want a slower paced game!    

Entertainment

The bar on the lower level is a great place to just sit and relax while watching the games.  Multiple board and card games are available for use.  We do provide books with entertaining short stories should you want to read a little something before turning in for the evening.

Electronics

Wind down with your family and/or friends and a movie on the 55" Smart TV located in the living room on the main floor.  A second 55" TV is located in on the lower level along with a 40" over the bar.

There is portable wireless bluetooth speaker on the main level that can be moved throughout the house or boat dock.

If you would like to rent a pontoon boat for use during your stay, we can assist you in getting in contact with the company that rents them on the lake.  The private boat dock does have space to tie up a rental pontoon boat or your own boat if you choose to bring it onto Hyco Lake!
